I visited Dorney Park yesterday, 06/02/2025, with the family. This was my second time ever visiting the park and I always have a good time. While there were many school busses filled with students, the lines were fairly short and moved very efficiently. Also, not a single ride, that I could tell, was closed! I was able to ride all the major roller coasters and a couple flats including Demon Drop. Below are some pics with captions. Enjoy!
Talon is a picturesque inverted roller coaster with a very intense smooth riding experience!
Gotta love Hydra. This has to be the most unique ride layout of any floorless coaster. It's a bit shaky in spots but overall very smooth and should not get as much hate as it receives, IMO.
Demon Drop is an original Intiman Drop ride. I am so happy this ride still exits. I love the bottom of the drop because you are still are going full speed, unlike other drop rides, It truly feels you are going to blast through the ground before leveling out onto your back and into the brakes.
I love the height contrast between Thunderhawk and Steel Force in this photo.
Iron Menace and Possessed.
Enterprise is still going strong, quite a simple but fun ride
A very unique train ride with a colorful history.
Steel force is soooo smooth especially over a "non-wheel" seat. There are some powerful positive G's at the bottom of each hill and mild airtime at the crests. I wasn't expecting it, but I grayed out a bit in the helix. I think I just needed to drink some water.
Iron Menace has a rare incline loop. This was probably the smoothest of the inversions.
Fantastic first drop. You can definitely feel that it is beyond 90 degrees.
Another fun pic of Talon.
Kaleidoscope is a fun troika. It had a longer ride cycle than Bad Apple at KD.
On the way home, I found it hilarious that there are 2 neighboring towns; one "Bethlehem" and one "Hellertown. "Jesus's birthpalce and the devil's den right next to eachother
