Interesting but I question how much difference it really will make. I mean sure seconds over hundreds or thousands of boats add up but is it enough to justify a custom ride system.

I'm assuming Disney of all companies has gone through the number crunching and determined it is worth it for their purposes.

Now if this was a local park doing something like this, I'd question their reasoning.

There's theory it's for the new Frozen ride. I guess whatever they can do to expedite boats leaving will help with hourly capacity.
