Just got a postcard notice in the mail about a court case I hadn't heard of being settled. Apparently they were including credit card expiration dates on receipts at SeaWorld parks, and were sued for it violating the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act. As a settlement, pass holders get 2 certificates for a free food item up to $4.75. Also, if you have receipt that shows your credit card expiration date, you get a payment of up to $25.

(Hope this case wasn't already in another thread, I couldn't find it of it was)

I got the same email a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if you had to actually visit during the time frame in question, as my daughter and I were included in the settlement, but not my son or wife. Guess we'll be getting certificates, now we just have to find something under $5 to use them on.
