Ooooo I remember that!! Sadly it’s not in any of my childhood pics.
 
Why would you remove this flat ride!?


Most of these rides are gone from major theme and amusement parks. Chance updated the design with their Wipeout ride but there are few of those around as well.

I walked right past the Roto Baron this morning while waiting for the Fiends Frenzy 5k to start, and I wondered why a children’s ride had such a large queue area (although some of the railings were removed). Now I know it’s probably left over from Blitzschneller.

Having ridden it many times in my early youth I can say the ride was very popular and always had a long line and on the super busy days was even spilling out of the queue.
