Attraction Danse Macabre at Efteling

I don't know if anyone else has been following it, but the new Danse Macabre ride at Efteling in the Netherlands looks absolutely amazing!

It seems like it's nearly ready to open, and the latest episode of the Making of Danse Macabre was just posted:

I would love to see BGW add something like this-- maybe as a Haunts of the Old Country attraction in place of the old simulator.

Just one more reason why Efteling may well be the best park in the world. You can even get a sense in that video of how the park’s designers revere the park as an art form as much as (if not more than) it is an entertainment commodity.

If you’ve been a longtime fan of BGW and miss the magic BGW used to have, and you find yourself in western Europe, you need to book a trip to Efteling.

Efteling is simply wonderful. It's a place where the ideas of magic, fantasy and imagination aren't just buzzwords but a sincere guiding philosophy.

This looks like the tilt a whirl on steroids that I never knew I wanted. TAWs are my favorite classic flat ride if I had to pick one, so I’m sure I would love this ride. Did anybody else notice that the platform drops? It’s something I just noticed today.
