Saw the cedar falls video on this and just wanted to hear people's thoughts on it. Seems like it is confirmed based on what Cedar Flags said, but you can't always be sure. I personally think that we might be looking at the Energylandia of America considering they're adding five new coasters, albeit smaller ones besides Circuitbreaker.

Fixed. Thanks for making the thread!

Here's a local news source:

Most important bit beyond the Circuit Breaker tilt coaster announcement is:
It'll be equipped with at least 25 rides when it opens, including five roller coasters.

The other 4 coasters have already been announced—Palindrome which is supposed to open later this year and then the three small coasters that already exist in the park today. RCDB link for reference:

Circuit of the Americas Land was not one of the parks I expected to announce a new gen Vekoma project in the United States.

But here I am, shocked and dumbfounded, and majorly impressed because I saw this exact park on TV just this past weekend while NASCAR was racing there. I am very excited to see what these guys are up to.

I couldn't agree more yet another reason to put a trip to the NASCAR granpre on my to do list.

I love Austin as well, but I am still curious to see how this park is able to succeed with Six Flags Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld San Antonio, and Schlitterbahn all sitting just down the road.

As a side note, when I visited San Antonio in February, I flew in/out of Austin and dropped by a brewery to pick up beer for my visit to the Salt Lick. This beer was beyond alright, alright, alright...

I echo everything about the name. I would like to say that it would be the perfect trip to watch the F1 race there and go to COTAland and ride Palindrome and Circuit Breaker. It'll be interesting to see what kind of layout it ends up having. Glad to see that the whole Vekoma not building major thrill coasters in the US thing wasn't very concrete.

Bro my fam would go for the race and then during the race I’d be there lapping Circuit Breaker

Actually a second question: are F1 tickets really $600+? Or is that scalper nonsense?

EDIT: never mind. Scalper nonsense. $59 for Friday. $129 for Saturday and unknown for the actual race as those aren't available yet. multi-day passes are sold out.
