This is wishful thinking- but I’d love to see a starflyer or permanent observation tower back by Drachen spire. And the starflyer would have more consistent operations than a certain other ride an hour away.
Ya, this is like what I said in the Turkish Delight thread:
I don’t think they should move Turkish Delight, but I do agree that BG needs some sort of observation ride somewhere in the park. It could really be anything from a ferris wheel, to a star flyer, to an observation tower, but it really feels like a hole in the ride lineup. I know people who just want to get great views of the park without having to ride a thrill ride like Mach Tower or Griffon. Maybe they could put an observation ride near Drachen Spire once that happens because there seems to be enough room and it would also give people more of a reason to go over there.

Would an observation tower themed to Rupunzel's tower be too far out? that or I was gonna suggest replacing the seats on Mach with an observation deck that would revolve going up, stay at the top for a minute then go back down but that doesn't seem remotely realistic.

No IP themed observation tower for me, thanks!

I'd have to guess retrofitting a platform onto the drop ride would be cost prohibitive with the need for engineering and custom fabrication, assuming the pole could take the forces in the first place.

I googled maypoles because I thought maybe an observation tower could be themed to one and instead I discovered what Mach Tower is themed to.
Update: turns out it's actually not themed to a maypole and I was going to then suggest theming the tower to a maypole but I like @andyb idea more. i was going to then suggest maybe getting some forced perspective action going there but that sort of defeats the purpose of an observation tower.

Well… in considering what new additions may be added… we have to consider what areas are still open for development. A while back, a member, posted a good overview of potential areas within the park that could see construction/expansion. IMO , I’m curious if we will see new “flats” being introduced or some of the older rides replaced. As it stands… the park has a good amount of “transitional” rides that appeal to a wide range of patrons.

I don't know how much room they have in Festa still but I was conjuring up like an Apollo-Pantheon rivalry in my head while driving home Saturday (2.5 hours so ample time with my thoughts) and instead came up with an idea for a dueling coaster called Clash of the Titans, could make it like Oceanus vs Hyperion for that fire v water thing but that might be too close to Dueling Dragons.

Unless they take out RR and expand into the woods, I think they're out of land... Plus, I don't think they need to turn it into SV from KD if they can continue spreading rides around the park as it seems they're doing.

Mach Tower. That’s pretty much it. I know you’re gonna get some salty people saying Tempesto but SR2s are actually good rides. They just need to get rid of the comfort collars because they don’t serve any purpose and are a hassle to get into.
+1 for this. Tempesto is fun, always has been. At least once you've properly gotten into the seat...

I wouldn't miss MT for a second.

Maybe hot takes?

Escape from Pompeii needs to go. Breaks down a ton, the show building doesn’t work all the time, and the drying situation/water cannons make it a pain. Get a new Intamin water ride to use a lift behind the building and pass through it.

Roman Rapids needs an overhaul. I get it’s not going anywhere. But take away all the “get wet” elements and make it a leisure ride with elements showing the cultures of Marco Polos encounters.

DiVincis Garden just needs all new flats. Get the newest Zemparlia flats with the nebulizer, the super air race, windstarZ, and a few things like that.

What, remove the battering ram?
Knocking out battering ram would be an insult- not gonna lie. It’s one of, if not the single most family friendly rides in the park, and everybody loves it. Plus, doing so would also almost certainly involve removing a section, if not most of the gardens there.

I did this for KD also but what rides do you think need to be demolished and/or replaced
Seconding Mach Tower needing to be replaced.

Hoping the Ice Breaker minimum height debacle leads to the death of Comfort Collars including on Tempesto, the ride where those monstrosities were introduced.

If Verbolten lives to see a 26th anniversary, it will have completely spit on the grave of the Big Bad Wolf, so I want it gone before then. But that's not until 2037-2038.

if Verbolten makes it to 25, they should totally revamp the ride. Turn it into a suspended coaster that goes through a simulacrum of a Bavarian village before a dramatic drop over the Rhine River.

I personally didn't enjoy Tempesto all that much the last time I rode it, but I'm also chalking that up to me being dehydrated since I don't think I drank a single drop of water that day until we got lunch around 3. If I ride it again and it turns out my stomach just can't handle then I mean it's not like I'm being forced to ride it.

Turn MT into a Windseeker ride or just tear it down?

This poem was supposedly inspired by the Pyrenees despite being set by the ocean and for some reason, I've always seen it as a flying coaster where you just drop out of the station right as the poem ends but I have absolutely no idea where you could put it unless they deemed the Griffon theme to be too problematic for some reason and renamed it to Eagle.
