I guess Blackfish is played out?

Six get electric shock on Connecticut amusement park ride

"(CNN) — Six people were injured on an amusement park ride at Ocean Beach Park in New London, Connecticut, on Tuesday.

The six were treated for minor injuries after experiencing what appears to have been an electric shock on the Scrambler ride, according to New London Police Deputy Chief Peter Reichard. Rides at Ocean Beach Park are closed temporarily."

I love this muckraking snippet:

""Some locals who frequent Ocean Beach Park said the rides look old, so they weren't surprised by the incident. They also don't plan on hitting the amusements again any time soon.

""I was not surprised at all. It just doesn't seem like a safe kind of thing. I don't know their safety record or anything,' Laurie Oliveri, who was at the park at the time, told CNN affiliate WFSB."

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought about this strange coincidence. I don't understand how CNN plans their smear campaigns. There can only be one person behind this ... Dr. Freakenstein "No more laughter, no more Dippin' Dots, no more silly little musical numbers..."

Anyway, yes, this does seem quite pathetic.

CNN is as narsasistic as they get. Always spewing their opinions as facts in a desperate attempt to sway viewers opinions.

If they feel the amusement industry has blood on its hands for RARE accidents, they will depict the industry in a negative light to push their agenda on the brainwashed public.

It's their way or the highway.

This is spot on. They can't even let the public have fun anymore. They have to take isolated incidents and ram "danger" down th public's throat until it forces the industry to change its ways cause its what they want.

CNN as a network plays directly into the partisan hands and those of their advertisers who keep them on the air and funded. Of course as a network they know who their viewers are demographically more likely to be center-left, left, or socially conscious so they play to that any chance they get.

Same as saying FOX News plays to center-right, right, and socially conservative.

Each network knows who butters their bread, draws eyes, and pays the bills with advertising. Not trying to get all political just more or less laying out how each network views their audience and what they know attracts viewers/ad profits.

This is a purely emotionally-driven group of poorly-researched, loosely-connected stories bundled together and sold as factual news. Blackfish was a purely emotionally-driven group of poorly-researched, loosely-connected stories bundled together and sold as a factual documentary.

CNN is just attempting to make lightning strike twice. People cared about neglect in the amusement industry supposedly harming helpless whales—surely those same people will care about neglect in the amusement industry supposedly harming helpless children. It's literally almost the exact same story.
