Unresolved Christmas Eve crowds?

I know weather will have an affect and can't be predicted yet, but does anyone have guesses for crowd levels for Christmas Eve? What have the past few years been like? Thanks!

Weather is not going to be a factor. The high for the day will be 58 and 0% chance of rain. With that forecast it may be crowded. Hard to say with people traveling. School get out today and the shipyard starts it's shutdown period today as well. That being said, I'm sure people who are traveling will be gone before Christmas Eve.

It seems to get busier each year. I was surprised at how busy it was last year.

Christmas Eve traditionally has not been very busy. In fact it is normally one of the best days to go the week of Christmas. Lots of families have traditional Christmas Eve activities.

That being said as @Celticdog noted it does seem to get busier every year as more and more families decide to make CT a Christmas tradition.
