Hello friends!
I have a few questions about Chang when it was at Kentucky Kingdom that I hope some of you can help me out with.
-Does anyone know if Chang every actually operated with three trains at Kentucky Kingdom? From what I can see it seems like no, but after doing further research on the coaster, it seems like the coasters maintenance bay that was added in 1998 had three storage tracks. Did the park just buy three and never run three? Or did they just build it with the intent of buying a third train if needed?
-Was the coasters block brake active? or was it once again added incase the park wanted to buy and run three trains?
-Does anyone know more about this possible rumored retheme into Riddler's Revenge and T2 into Batman?
-Does anyone know how many blocks the coaster truly had. From what i could tell it looks like the Station, Lift, block, service, safety, transfer like all other B&M's. But did this one sit in a weird waiting position that "over lapped" blocks like some of the other 90's B&M's? For example, Hulk at Island of Adventure will have a train stacked behind the station, but half the train is on the transfer track, block. The other stacked train is in the safety block and the last 2/3 rows are off the catwalk and on the turn.
Also if you have any fun stories or any other bit of knowledge about the coaster while it was at Kentucky Kingdom, I would love to hear it!
Thanks in advance!
-Kev
