News CGA Survey Pitches Pear Festival

Hi, All. I just got a survey from CGA about possibly having a Pear Festival, noting that prior to the park's creation, the area was occupied by pear orchards. I responded positively to the idea - but curious as to what others think.

That's pretty cool. I am not likely to ever get there, but they should certainly do that.

Was that the only event idea pitched in the survey? I have been hearing about surveys from other Cedar Fair parks asking about a variety of limited time shows/specialty acts in addition to a larger-scale event or two. Just curious if the format of the CGA survey was the same and, if so, if the Pear Festival was the big, more varied festival at the end of the survey.

It sounds like a super neat, park-specific idea! Would love to see it happen!
