@Ilovelambs We asked nicely once if we could sit there. The attendant from the entrance allowed us to wait off to the side to see if any reserved seating showed up. Just before the show started she gave us the all clear to sit at the tables. It really made our night. Can't say that you could bank on that at all, but it could be possible!
Thanks so much! It’s good to know! Never hurts to ask and try!

We were there Sunday morning. No storms. I live 10 minutes away and no storms overnight either.
I hate to disagree but there was a storm Sunday evening where it rained like crazy for about 15-20 minutes. No high winds though and very unlikely that it took down any trees. My understanding is this was scheduled roof replacement do to the age of the roof. It was planned to only take 2-3 days and only but the extreme heat has slowed down the crews. The show will be back open by the weekend.

Won't be open until next weekend. Will have photos soon of repairs. Might not have been a tree but sounds like the leak was
s so bad Sunday after all that rain it forced the parks hand to do the much needed roof repairs early.

The husband and I saw our first show of the season yesterday. Wow! This show never disappoints us! It was great like usual and I think they even added a few small bits to the tap dancing duel between the groom and groomsmen vs. the American ladies. The cast seems strong already this year. The innkeeper was very good and interactive with the audience, the entire cast seemed a little more interactive with the audience than usual, and the lady that sings the song "The Voice" was amazing. She had a wonderful voice and it was very clear through the audio. The show is definitely off to a strong start already!

Or don't because voting in these disgusting, predatory, extortion schemes perpetrated by USA Today (and now Newsweek?) only serves to increase the mob bosses' power and, in turn, their ability to essentially blackmail corporations into further perpetuating their own, self-serving profiteering scheme. The parks themselves are massively disincentived from combatting these bullies, but we have the ability to break the wheel by refusing to comply.

I've stopped voting on these a couple years ago. When my experience's (customer service, maintenance, cleanliness and food) within the park started to decline rapidly, I stopped the voting.

Does anyone know if "the Parting Glass" instrumental part of the song at the end of the show composed by Busch Gardens? Or, is that upbeat version of the song exist anywhere?

I believe the arrangement is original to BG. The song is an old Irish standard and most bands perform it as a funeral dirge. There is one band that I found that does have a more upbeat version. Off Kilter used to perform at Epcot from 1999 to about 2012. Their last album "One More Time" has a more upbeat version.

It is available on Amazon:

I have not been able to find the exact version played in Celtic Fyre.

I have to say, no matter how many times I see this show and no matter what my mood is before going into it, I always leave feeling a little more upbeat than I was before. I can't ever put my finger on why or what it is, but it just always hits me in a positive way and I'll always appreciate it for that. It's really the only thing in the park that I can say has never let me down a single time.

For 14 years this show doesn't feel stale to me, no matter how many times I watch it. Celtic Fyre to me is the Irish equivalent of "This Is Oktoberfest!", a show that somehow manages to be the perfect blend of ingredients that wouldn't work together but it somehow does. Also having an S tier cast of actors, singers and dancers certainly helps.

I’ve seen it twice since Thursday and was really impressed. Possibly the best cast Celtic Fyre has had in recent memory too!

I always try and see it once per visit. I encourage anybody that hasn’t seen it yet to make it a priority and just give it a shot. Even if you’re limited on time, Celtic Fyre rounds out the experience of BGW in a way that not many other theme park shows can.

I really like the change that cut the pre-opening with the innkeeper's keys, that part always felt a bit off and out of place in comparison to the rest of the show. It goes straight away to the "our guests have arrived" line and the music starts which I really appreciate.
