News Cedar Point Survey Polls Potential New Attraction Concepts

Have a handful of new attraction concepts here out of a Cedar Point survey. Of particular note is the first glimpse at concept art for a Vekoma Thrill Glider (Six Flags Magic Mountain's current Project Cyber Cycle attraction model)!

Definitely looks like Cedar Point is thinking about family rides next.

The Thrill Glider would, for sure, be my pick of these options. Great, unique way to get Cedar Point a straddle-type coaster.

Stunt show would be a nice idea for the back of the park. The launch coaster looks like Big Bear and could probably go in nicely on the island.

The thrill glider would be cool, but idk entirely how I feel about a park having both that and an Arrow Suspended coaster (not that redundancy has stopped Cedar Point though). I think the traditional family multi-launch is my pick out of these, especially if they could give it some more elaborate theming.

Interesting to see them reconsider a nighttime spectacular after the removal of Celebration Plaza. They might be trying to get a sense of how much guests miss having it around for the larger-scale productions in the evening.

Presumably a stunt show would be something like the productions from All Wheel Sports (Trailblazers Xtreme and Nytewalkers at Kings Island) or Les Productions Haut-Vol (Skeleton Crew and various shows at Canada's Wonderland).

IMO they need something indoors. That park is hot and full of bugs a lot of the year. Disaster Transport was a Godsend back in the day. The Pavilion is great, but its not a ride...

They can make this work with the right ride removals. Some things need to go. As a *Gemini* - I have certain visions...

I had the same thought, but Iron Dragon can't possibly be much longer for this world, right?

I feel much less sentimental about the buildings by Stockade and the Trading Post, etc - those could go for a dark ride. Bonus points if it's themed to Boneville.

@Zachary - Iron Dragon becomes less and less relevant now that Vekoma can do it better if that's what they wanted to do one day. This comes from a devoted fan of the Arrow Suspended model from coast to coast. Also the Vekoma track looks nearly identical to Arrow's if they wanted to do a redux of the ride with an indoor component to fool the GP that's its still the Dragon at heart...
