If you think Howl-O-Scream and KD's Haunt is bad on Saturday, take a look at Cedar Point right now.

Insane doesn't even begin to describe the amount of people there.

It's a good thing you didn't. Twitter was on fire last night with people trying to leave the park as they were stuck in some of the parking lots for almost 3 hours. And some of these people even left long before the park closed at midnight. Going by the live cam, Millennium Force didn't stop running until 1:45 a.m. when they finally cleared out the queue.

I showed that pic to my daughter who was at KD's haunt last night, she said that was pretty much how KD looked too.

I remember the Saturday night just before Halloween (remembering last year) being the most full I'd even seen the KD parking lot, and I expect that next weekend will be similar (which is why my wife and I go on Fridays). It's also been very good weather for most KD haunt nights this year.

Welcome to peak haunt season.

Somebody posted a picture of Universal on Saturday night right after rope drop. The line pretty much stretched past the arch and filled up the pathway. Looking at the wait times, the average was 120 minutes. Evil Dead, which usually has 10-20 min waits on most nights was pulling 40 minutes (shortest maze wait in the park).

It pretty much happens at every park. I don't see how this is much of a surprise.
