With the Copperhead Strike area, pavers are nearly around the whole park. I believe Country Crossroads is the only area still under pavement? The two game stands have been replaced with planters in the old footprints. Not sure what the poles will become. The whole area is a huge open space now. Lastly, Country Crossroads is no longer a dead end as Copperhead Strike now attaches by the bumper cars.

A small stage with a hillbilly moonshine theme has been added beside the Mountain Gliders. The benches previously located at the front gate stage and random rocking chairs are the seating. A cute show with three 'shinners playing to a music track. The hood of the truck hides a marimba used in the show.

CW has upped their game on beautifying the park. Flowers and decorated areas are everywhere and nicely done. Yes, the hand pump actually works. The moss covered millhouse wheel has been replace with a metal one. Dale's car has been removed. Which, judging by the ground markings and new fence location, may not return? Didn't KD refurb theirs? The Coke Freestyle Market by Hurler now has a queue, so no more free-for-all freestylin'.

Blue Ridge Country Kitchen rises from the bone of Wings. The restaurant appears the same inside. The right side now opens into another added dinning area labeled on the outside as Country Store. The tin ceiling on that side is a nice touch. Picnic tables are added out front. An alcohol bar is now on the porch side facing Flying Cobras. Still wondering where all the WWI artifacts ended up.

The last for this trip. Some merch photos. I like the Centurion pin. That was the fake name and logo the park registered for Fury325 to troll their fan base with. Hhhhmm. Almost like they appreciated their fans....

I also took a parting photo of Fury325 before they start charging a $10 service fee for in-park photos. Oh, wait that is what another park up north will be doing next.

There has to be some code somewhere where a park has to sell at least one article of merchandise with a sleight of hand phrase.

The best part is that it's the best one of the "park collection shirts." Copperhead as a whole has some damn good merch.

Carowinds' motto, at least according to their shirts:

"Fear the five! Unless, like everyone else, you hate Nighthawk - FEAR THE FOUR!"

The choice, or non-choice, of coasters for shirts was interesting. I also forgot to mention recalling only a couple of areas playing modern music. The front area was playing modern music, but in the form of Vitamin String Quartet. I didn't Shazam to see if that is who it was. I'm sure that Whitesnake didn't think their song would end up like that.

Entertainment happenings. The Summer Nights concerts only show on the weekend :( Neat signage for the shows and stages. The swing-twist-on-modern-tunes show was closed. Last hurrah for the dinos.

The corn for Copperhead never quite filled in. Still amused by the character stories the outhouse designs tell. No, actually it just make me homesick. ;)

At the Harmony Hall patio, the rocking chairs have been replaced by lounge chairs and bistro tables. A new path directly to this area was also installed.

This late in the year and new mech still rolls in. Ahem, birthday hint on the Copperhead Strike model.

Disappointment in the celebration of this ride. No shirts, no cups, no anything but signs.

Finishing out the cool Summer night after these past wretched hot days.

So Fury has Intimidator's art and Intimidator has Intimidator 305's art? Afterburn looks like like a generic invert image.
