RE: Concerts 2013

Busch Gardens Williamsburg finally announces Who's Performing at Busch Gardens Live!!
T.B.D., the hottest band since The Monkees, will be at the park all summer long on the following dates:

- May 12, 24 & 25
- June 29
- August 17, 24, 25 & 31

RE: Concerts 2013

It looks like they added four more concerts from last year. Already starting off to be looking like a more wide range of artists.

You guys know what kind of bands you're going to get at a theme park? Bands that are willing to play theme parks. Keep your expectations low. :p

RE: Concerts 2013

From rumors inside I have heard that this year the park will be getting more popular well known names, names that stick out and people really know, think Bruno Mars, not sure if he is on the list but along those lines.

Bruno Mars is way too big a name to play at the park. He just announced his 2013 tour and he's playing all of the major NBA/NHL arenas throughout the continent.

I'm pretty sure Bruno Mars is too low quality even for BGW, it would be a slap in the park's face if they allowed him to perform there.

He's on fire right now. Bruno Mars is an excellent artist. Don't know where the hate is coming from.

This.

I'm not even a Bruno Mars fan but to say he is too low quality for the park as B.Mac did is absolutely ridiculous. He's a grammy award winning artist and the demand he's created for himself at the moment is evident by the venues he's playing on his upcoming tour.

His level of fame will be park level in five year.

^ This.

I'm a huge fan of his (and pretty much anyone who is top 40 around now), but that's how pop is nowadays. It goes through cycles. We're slowly starting to come out of the dance craze (which started up when GaGa rose to fame). Besides, pop is going through a restructuring phase. The only people who survive the cycles are people who claim a large demographic (Adele - and honestly very few others ; Taylor Swift is trying but its rocky).

My guesses are
Conor Maynard - (getting there but not there yet)
Hot Chelle Ray again - (maybe - not sure what their numbers were last year)

And I'm hoping for Colbie Caillat again.

My last point is don't look for people with big shows/tour productions.

You don't know what you are talking about on this one... The man is an great producer... You know, which actually takes talent beyond the level of Miranda Cosgrove...
