Found out this weekend after talking to a few of the trainers that they have done away with the part of this tour where a guest gets to put on the leather glove and have a bird of prey land on it.  This was due to some new regulation/law with handling birds in the state or something (forgot the details).  Gotta look it up for official statement.  I understand why these things happen, but it is still a shame.  I was so planning on doing this in a few weeks. Now I won't get to recreate that amazing picture that Nora has with an owl. :(

The law requires that certain native birds can not be touched by the public in some form or another I believe.

^Saw that falcon flying over the bridge between the main entrance and the England parking lot last Saturday!! Very cool!!

Almost got hit in the head by one of the birds. The trainer said to stand very still and do not move, I would be fine. True I was fine, but I was probably a bit too close for comfort.
