Here's a panoramic shot of the Wolf, sorry for the blurring to the right side of the Festhaus Park sign, I replaced the stitching software on my phone and haven't had these problems since, wish this pic was perfectly stitched though.

Ok fellow BGW nuts...help me out PLEASE. We have lost Big Bad Wolf to history. Someone please post...or help me find the ORIGINAL Big Bad Wolf TV commercial. I can't find it ANYWHERE...and I fear it may be lost to history too. I would also LOVE to know if ANYONE has the queue "ride story and warning" recordings for Big Bad Wolf...and ALL of the BGW coasters...those things we hear while waiting in the queue. Now some of those would be REALLY HARD to find...if not impossible. They would be great additions to an RCT 3 re-creation don't you think? But we REALLY need to find that commercial. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. :)

I'm seen it on YouTube (I believe)... If I have time later, I will try to find it.

Really?? That would be awesome!! I did try to find it on YouTube...maybe I didn't search for the right thing. I did find a BGW commercial on there, but alas...it was not the "who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" commercial.
If you can find it and post a link or something you will be my hero. :)

This is what I consider original commercial! Probably not what you're looking for, but an interesting video.

Arrow Dynamics Promotional - Big Bad Wolf

I think that is what I was thinking of... I'll still keep my eyes out for a different one though.

That one is REALLY cool. The audio could also be used in RCT 3 as queue background. Yeah, the one I am talking about has a guy walking in the woods..and then looks like something chasing him...then he turns and has wolf eyes, and the announcer says "Are you afraid of the Big Bad Wolf". That is all I really remember about it. The park itself probably doesn't even still have that commercial...which is really a bummer. Does anyone else remeber that commercial? I don't know for sure, but I think the guy in the commercial was also the kid in Motley Crue's Smoking in the boys room video. Wow...how's THAT for worthless information? :) Also really shows my age huh.

I would like to invite you to see Rob Warren's Documentary: Say Goodbye to the Big Bad Wolf. I was honored he decided to use a bit of my dialogue from my trip report of the Last Day of the Big Bad Wolf I wrote a while back, and not only that he gives thanks to the BGWFans.com too!

I am posting this in another spot as well.

Enjoy: http://www.vimeo.com/8855401

I think the saddest part of them getting rid of BBW was they didn't take it down nicely, they just took it and ripped it apart and shredded it completely. I am pretty shocked they didn't take it down nicer.

Yeah, it was a welded construction, so as painful as it was to see, it was really the only way they could take it down.

I got a hard copy of the documentary in the mail today. The disk graphic looks pretty awesome. Check it out:

Would you happen to have a bigger picture of that? I think thats an awesome pic, to see what has changed 25 years ago. You can even see the fountains or mist sprays on the right of that pic.

Sorry, but I got it off Google, I dn't think I could get a bigger picture, you could save it to your computer and edit it to be bigger with Paint or something like that, but I can't really do anything. I think shows how much the area has changed. You can tell because there is whole bunch of trees that popped up in that area and there is no longer a gap there.

Big Bad Wolf video update for November 27, 2009. I'm sorry it is so rough, it was my first time with the camera (it is Yoshi's). Also, I had it put together nicely in Movie Maker, but when I went to publish it, it crashed and I lost it. I didn't have the patience to go though and do it all again. Here it is.

Most of the video by me. Most of the pictures by Fur Dozy.

There were Christmas lights on the trees SADIE @@!!!
