I wonder if we could see an expanded aviary. All of the other SWP&E park aviaries put Busch Gardens Williamsburg's to shame.

Oh well, I guess it's good that he didn't just tell you "We are certain that our guests are going to love our new grass exhibit!"

For those who wish to visit with some of BGW's former animal ambassadors (goats and sheep), stop by  Bluebird Gap Farm, in Hampton.  They are being cared for by the farm's volunteers.

To play Devil's advocate the two other people I go to the park with who don't care to know these things said (after I told them about these changes following our visit) that they didn't notice any difference to their park experience. That is why this happened.

Great article!! Today I had the chance to tour the VA Zoo vet clinic in Norfolk. The Harris Hawk, sloth, and Cleopatra - the albino python are all in the care of the VA Zoo now. While I am happy that these animals have a good home, I am depressed they are not a part of the BGW family anymore...

The VA Zoo is a terrific home for them. The new state of the art clinic and surgical area will ensure their health. This is a excellent solution to a very hard problem.

Does anyone know the disposition of the serval?
