BGW via Satellite

Through random searching, I found terraserver. It shows satellite images through history. So I searched BGW and found some interesting images. Here is a quick link for those interested.

Anyone else find it amazing that all three of Oktoberfest's coasters that were there 10 years ago are now gone? I hadn't really realized that till I looked at the 2000 images. Wow.

1994 is an interesting year to look at too. No Alpengeist, no Apollo's Chariot, no Escape from Pompeii, etc.

It does. Terra has few years that Google doesn't have and it also has a few images that are higher quality than what Google has. Both work well though.

Edit: There also seems to be a few large gaps between years(1994-200) I would like to see if there are other sources to maybe find those years.

EDIT: Although years 1953 and 1970 are only partial images and only show the brewery land then. Plus 1980 is missing a strip of image in the middle.

http://earthexplorer.usgs.gov/ has updated images for BGW, including MT, Vbolt, etc. I'm a map nerd so these things interest me.
