Kings Dominion's Web site has the specifics for the 2016 version of the BBQ & Brew Fest. The event has been expanded to 3 weekends in August (Sat & Sun only): 6-7, 13-14, 20-21. It appears that the food offerings have been expanded by adding 2-3 new food stations. Chef Paul will be using the food truck and the outdoor pit area this year. Also, Chef Paul has invited outside BBQ vendors to participate as well. I see just one vendor in the food section. There appears to be a full pig roast every Saturday during the event. The number of brewers each weekend looks to be expanded as well. The info below came from the KD website. As always, the food menu/offerings and brew vendors are subject to change without notice.

KD BBQ & Brew Fest

So I was at the park on Sunday and I picked up one of these craft brews and asked the yellow shirt staff member how far I could take it and he said 'anywhere you want except for on the rebel yell'! For the first time ever, I walked around KD enjoying craft beer without being harassed by security. It was great! (BGW had spoiled me in this area)

Edit: BTW, I had The Old Bust Head and it was superb.

They have a temporary full park license for the duration on the BBQ & Brew Fest. Hopefully that's a step in the direction of it being full time.

I understand the conversation is about beer but, HOW HAS NOBODY BROUGHT UP THE WRAPPED HOT DOG?! Holy crap was that thing good. Ham wrapped hot dog with BBQ on top... Sorry mom, Kings Dominion outdid you this time and bad. But seriously, somebody eat that hot dog. Ok, im done now.

That was one of the Halligan booths. Everything I tried from their booths was really good. As a matter of fact I really like everthing I tried except for the taco bag thing that was a let down in my opinion. I was expecting sonething other then a generic bag of nacho chps with pulled pork and cheese on top.
