I would love for them to turn part of the building into a Permit tribute store/BGW history museum

Tbh that whole corner needs to be revamped - FF, Abbeystone Theater (sometimes), and the bar and shop are the most common things open right? So why leave CoS and the BfE underutilized or empty?

But considering how much they seem to leave rotting in storage or straight up get rid of, it seems unlikely there's enough material for any kind of park history museum.

In sure BGW would find a way, it's not like they don't keep records and stuff

While I agree with the general principle that every ride's closure should be announced in advance so that fans can plan their last ride and it can be given a proper send-off, what happened here seems totally unplanned. I imagine the park had every intention of re-opening it once the COVID concerns diminished. Somewhere along the way due to staffing and budgetary issues, a decision was made that re-opening it was not the best path. It would be a nice nod to those who created the ride to still give it some sort of send-off announcement, but at this point I don't see how that would be beneficial from a business perspective. There are already lots of complaints about the park being open with many attractions closed. This would simply add fuel to the fire and give people more reasons to complain. If it was an unpopular ride to begin with, a majority of guests may not notice its gone.

It certainly wouldn't be fair to expect final rides given the situation, but I do think every ride deserves an announcement when it is retired. It doesn't need to be some big affair—but official word is needed IMO.
