“There were four people on the front row, and two of them had a bunch of cuts and scrapes on their legs, and one had blood on his face,” said the employee. “Sometimes people get nosebleeds on the rides because of the loops and everything, so it’s not too uncommon. They said, ‘We hit something, we hit something, we hit something!’ And we were like, ‘What did you hit? What did you hit?’ They said, ‘We think it’s an animal; we think it’s an animal. Earlier tonight, some family members posted on social media that he passed away.

A Kings Island employee said the park sent out an email to staff offering counseling and time off to anyone who may need it.

It’s really tragic. It is really devastating and it’s nice that Cedar Fair and the KI higher ups are providing the resources anyone might need. It’s also sad that this whole entire event could have been prevented if he just thought to himself hey this is really dangerous. B&M inverts and any coaster at all become deadly once you disobey and enter areas you’re not supposed to be in. I’m not saying there not safe they are extremely safe. One last thing what I heard is he had 2 kids with him can’t imagine what’s going through their heads right now.

I was just watching roller coaster videos and came across this one by Theme Park Brandon. I typically enjoy the guy, he's very positive and gives off a good vibe. However, this video got me thinking WTF. (Honestly he may just be trying to stir the pot and get click bait) Regardless, I personally truly hope to GOD DC Comics stays out of legacy Cedar Fair parks. Hell, I hope DC gets out of legacy Six Flags parks too. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the DC characters, but I think they've out lived their stay at Six Flags and can be freed, finally, to allow Universal or Warner Bros to give them due justice at a theme park here in the United states. The money Six Flags does not spend on the license can be used to improve the parks and bring quality, unique themes to its parks.

What are your guys thoughts on this? Do you think there's a possibility that we could see DC Comics come to Cedar Fair parks?

This is the guy that says Cedar Point will get a 700 ft tall coaster with 10,000 inversions every single year. I think this is ok to take with a massive grain of salt.

I kinda think the opposite, and that they'll phase the DC theming out of legacy six flags parks over time. Not necessarily in the immediate future but in like 10-15 years.

I agree that it’s more likely we’ll see the DC IP phased out. Even if the DCU manages to do what the DCEU couldn’t, DC is not as valuable of an IP as it was in the 90s and early 2000s. It can’t be nearly the draw it once was.

In addition, TPB is an expert at blowing smoke up his followers’ asses. This is the same guy who claims SFEC regrets removing Kingda Ka, that it’ll haunt them forever, etc. I think he does make some decent content, but some of it is just ridiculous and warrants skepticism towards anything he claims. He also thinks there’s a chance Cedar Point is going to remove Iron Dragon despite the fact that we ended up with Zamperla doing TT2 because Intamin’s proposal involved that very removal.

Granted, on that last note, I think the dude really just hates Arrows considering he’s made claims about Gemini and Corkscrew leaving and the timeframes for those claims have come and gone.

Back on topic. I personally like Banshee a lot. I think it has a great theme, layout and probably isn't going to be touched.
