I think it's interesting that BGW refused to talk about Aquazoid at today's ACE event. Maybe this is more interesting than we're currently assuming?

Did they say "no comment"? Or how exactly did they respond with the refusal?

Something to the effect of "we're not able to talk about that yet." If this was just a straight tower replacement project... That seems pretty easy to admit.

Hm yeah agreed. Sounds a bit suspicious.

Perhaps they are waiting for some sort of survey/report to come in for the structural integrity of the rest of the ride?

Or maybe they have asked seas for a revamp budget but it hasn't been approved yet. So they don't know if they'll just be replacing the tower, or if they'll be able to do something more extensive yet.

Just a couple of thoughts.

She also said something about “we like giving our guests new things.”

Now _that_ is very interesting.

It seems incredibly late in the game though to be deciding on a complete teardown and replacement with a 'new thing' for 2020 though.

And if that were under consideration, it would presumably be a 2021 thing and Aquazoid would be closed for the 2020 season; but then why put Aquazoid back on the list of attractions?
