Air Safari, the Zamperla Jets in Junior Thrillseekers, has been removed from the park’s website as well. Not a real loss (or even the only kiddie jets ride in the park, one of 3 actually), but that does put us at 9 ride removals.

Oddly enough it was the newest kiddie ride in the park despite being 18 years old, being the only brand new ride when Wiggles World opened. Wonder if they’re relocating Air Jumbo to the plot given that it’s the oldest ride in the park having originally opened in 1960 at Great Escape, and also the only kiddie ride in the park that’s not IN a kiddie section.

Edit: I’m dumb, forgot the carousel is nearly 150 years old lol

The comments in the Reddit thread about this are insane. I get it’s another ride gone but I really feel like we’re not losing much here. People are talking about canceling season passes over there lmao

Reddit has been off the rails since rumors began, even more so since they were confirmed, and yet again even more since the tower fell.

If I’m not mistaken, Air Safari hasn’t even operated since 2022. Whatever the reason for that is, it’s really not a loss when you still have two of the same ride type (albeit from different manufacturers), the BBNP one being themed to the area and Air Jumbo having some historical significance, while this was a quick retheme after the Wiggles license lapsed.

Knew people would overreact to another removal but good god.

The ride restriction rules put in place by Zamperla made no sense for that ride and it was such a pain in the ass to monitor blindspots that I genuinely wondered how the ride stayed when LTS and Safari Kids got gutted for the addition of Jersey Devil.

I don't usually rag on kiddie ride as safety liabilities but let me tell you that model of ride should never be operated with less than 2 operators, ever.

Probably the exact reason it last operated in 2022 honestly. This is a nothing burger of a removal though, we didn’t need 3 jets rides lol

Planet Snoopy anyone??
I mentioned this over in the Cyborg thread, but I would like to see this ride moved in front of Flash where Cyborg was, and rethemed similar to SFFT's Green Lantern ride. While not a perfect match for an IP, it would add another family ride over into that area of the park and look much better than being hidden at the back of a land. (Also if it needs two operators per the state to run, at least you can put it in a more visible area of the park - justify the labor budget). At least it would bring some more life to the area.

If they want to turn the rest of the area into Planet Snoopy or Camp Snoopy (although it needs to be distinct from Looney Tunes National Park), that's fine - but if they go that route, I think adding 2-3 more rides and hopefully another family coaster like Snoopy's Soap Box Racers is a must.

A family boomerang would do wonders for the park’s lineup. Feel like it wouldn’t be too far fetched for the plot Dare Devil Dive was in, and Boardwalk has lacked in the family ride department for a very long time now.
