Would be a shame if one of these spare Vekomas just fell into Kings Dominion somewhere in a spot that makes sense. Oops! Vekoma Flyer! Oops! US Fonix!

I look forward to the family boomerang that will feel like karma for that joke.
Now I'm wondering where a family boomerang would go in Planet Snoopy. Would they be taking out the little stadium thingy?

A Nebulaz is kinda gimmicky and the load process sucks but it would fit well with KD's other flat ride offerings. A Zamperla flat package in general would be amazing for the park TBH.

A tourbillion would be great visually but the ones Six Flags installed have tons of problems. After getting rid of most of their problem rides in recent years, I don't think KD wants another ride with maintenance issues.

"Look cool" is about all they're good for. I've done both Six Flags installations, both of them are pretty lame on-ride. Seems like the motors they use on each axis aren't strong enough to make good rotations. That's entirely aside the known maintenance headache they are.

If were looking at coasters, a new family suspended coaster would be a good option.

I'm still crossing my fingers for a dark or enclosed ride at some point. Maybe one of those newer generations of a flying theater ride (like an intamin motion tower). I'd love that as a way to cool off in the summer.

I would KILL for something similar to Danse Macabre at KD. That ride already looks awesome as far as theming and everything goes.

I would absolutely adore something like a Vekoma SFC at KD (as long as it could run more than 1 train), but I don't think it'll happen due to BGW getting the B&M SFC.

I do think the next coaster is likely a family coaster (IMO, a Vekoma family boomerang), I just don't think it'll be an SFC.

I'm hoping after shoring up the family rides, though, we see a Vekoma STC either in Anaconda's plot, or in the plot left by go-karts/dinos alive. I know people have said they want a flyer there, but I think an inversion focused STC over the lake would be awesome. (launched would be a bonus, too.)

They can make the SFC quite intense like dragonflier at dollywood.

Of all the American parks, KD never built a B&M invert, they could be one of the few parks in play to end up with a STC from Vekoma? I mean no idea if they will, to clarify. Not saying that's the "best" possibility or my most "preferred choice" but just guessing where one of those theoretically could end up in the US. KD seems one of the more likely parks since it's one of the largest parks with no B&M invert and BGW has a big ole B&M invert that almost murders you with its cobra roll. Not that there are not several examples of B&M inverts not far from each other, I mean you have Great Bear, Talon, and Batman in a neat little line north of us. Hell I would take a ride similar to Banshee with glee at KD. Also no idea if this would be "next" but like "maybe one day?" Especially with Six Flags relationship with Vekoma should Flash and Siren's Curse perform well.

Again, just spitballing ideas. I would choose several ride models over a Vekoma STC, what if Vekoma had a launched model up their sleaves?

Vekoma STCs definitely need to come to North America at some point. I’d like one at KD, although I don’t know how it would be marketable with Alpengeist and Wolf’s Revenge in the same state.

Most inversions on an invert? Maybe, if Vekoma wants to.
Full circuit launched invert in North America? Would kinda pay tribute to Volcano (even though this isn’t replacing it).

I do think an STC would be a middle ground between the two Williamsburg inverts. Not something too intense like Alpie but would have some thrill elements like sharp hills and inversions making it a stepping stone to more extreme coasters. While I would love something like this to come to Doswell, maybe sometime down the line, I think the next coaster should be family oriented. Every coaster added since Backlot has been thrill based.

However, I did notice an unused suspended family boomerang model in a video on Vekoma’s LinkedIn page…Martijn Van Dort on LinkedIn: #salesenablement #marketingandsales #attractions

Edit: also, I am aware that neither Kings nor Busch have traditional yaw-axis spinning coasters, that would also be a neat addition. Maybe something like Cobra’s Curse or an Xtreme spinner later on.

Just saying that something swinging would set it apart from BGW’s inverts (I assume the suspended family boomerang would use the same trains as regular suspended family coasters?)

It wouldn’t be redundant with Reptilian, after all Iron Dragon and Disaster Transport coexisted.

Edit…Why the eye-roll? Is it the repetition of my sentiment? I will always believe that the coaster world is poorer since the decline of suspended coasters.
