I was hoping someone here could help me - I am going to Hershey Park for the first time in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if their roller coasters were accommodating for larger-sized riders. As a point of reference, I can usually fit into all of the rides at Busch Gardens, but it’s very close, to be honest. Can you tell me which rides I may have trouble with at Hershey? Thanks for any help you can provide.

You should be able to fit on the GCI woodies Lightning Racer (Lightning and Thunder) and Wildcat. The Millennium Flyer trains are fairly accomodating. If you can fit on Alpengeist then you shouldn't have a problem with Great Bear. As far as their other coasters go I really can't say. I do know that Intamin can be a problem for larger riders and they have three of them. You can always try the test seats at the rides' entrances.
I am a bit large myself ( in fact at this time I am too large for many of the coasters at Busch.) At the time I went to Hershey (2010 when I was a bit thinner though certianly not svelt) I recall no issue getting into any of the rides, though some may have been a little tight, and I do not recall being unable to ride any of the open rides due to excess heft . However, I am unable to speak for Storm Runner and Roller Soaker (which were closed during my visit) or Wild Mouse ( which I decided against riding). The Bottom line is if you can fit in the rides at BG you should be alright.
You may have problems on Sooperdooperlooper. I've seen people who, in my opinion were not that big, unable to ride SkyRush. If you ride Trailblazer, ride in the front of a car. It has a lot more room than the other rows. I think you should be fine on the other rides. Let us know how it goes.
Back from the trip on the 4th of July and since you asked to know how it went, I will give you the rundown (and this may be helpful to other large people considering a trip to Hershey). For reference, I am 6'2", about 275 and generally proportionate [i.e. I don't carry all of my weight in any one place

Skyrush - I fit fine - very comfortable seat for larger riders as it is wide and flat.
Great Bear - I fit fine in the special seat for fat people, although painful on the hips as those B&M invert seats come up high on the hips and you have to ram yourself down in there to fit - same as Alpengeist. Painful hips for days since I rode this 3 times.
Comet - fit fine, no problems
SooperDooperLooper - fit fine, no problems
Trailblazer - fit fine, no problems
Storm Runner - fit fine, no problems (probably my favorite ride in the park, by the way, and very short lines all day since it is tucked in the back and with everyone at Skyrush and Fahrenheit)
Fahrenheit - fit fine, although a close call on the seat belt reaching
Wildcat - fit fine, no problems

Thank you for your wonderful list of roller coasters that will accommodate larger people. Since you don't seem hesitant to report your size, I was wondering if you could do some measuring, too. I'm a female, 5'1", and although I weigh less than you, I'm concerned more about inches than pounds. Could you provide your inches wherever the belt and harness would fall? This would be most appreciative.
