New Permits filed with the Southwest Florida Water Management District suggest the removal of the Splash Attack water play area. The plans call for "removal of 14,329 s.f. of existing concrete walkways/impervious area and the construction of approximately 16,435 s.f. of new concrete walkways/impervious area. The project will result in a 2,106 s.f. increase in impervious area."

See the attached PDF file for the permits filed with the SWFWMD.

Anyone else miss Everglides? I know Aqua Chutes aren't popular anymore, but a drop slide like Ohyah and Ohno at Volcano would add that extra dimension back. Ray Rush is needed but an Aqua Coaster would stamp this park as a destination. Hope they share that particular sentiment.
