40th Anniversary Party

I know this really isn't the thread to put this in, but WCUSA doesn't have that many threads, and theres none that are really relevant. Anyway, next year is WCUSA's 40th anniversary. Anyone heard any rumors if they're gonna be doing anything special for it, or building anything new for it? I know they did colossal curl for the 30th, and cutback for the 35th, so hopefully they do something for 40th

According to Kevin's questions and answers secession during the ACE June event SEAS still plans to open a new attraction at each park so it should have something new next year. But I currently have no info as to what.

Hypothetical I could see them not celebrating the 40th in 2024 possibly using the closed 2020 as an excuse to say it's not really the 40th and then doing a joint 2025 anniversary as BGW's 50th and WCUSA 40th.

According to Kevin's questions and answers secession during the ACE June event SEAS still plans to open a new attraction at each park

I thought when Kevin said that he was saying that each like region would get a new attraction each year? As in WCUSA or BGW would get a new attraction, but not necessarily both.

If WCUSA does get a new ride next year, I really hope it doesn't come at the expense of something else. It's been a long time since they've added something without removing a previous ride

If they were to remove a ride I believe it would be wild thang (which is sad, I love that ride) however I truly can’t see them doing that yet due to it having a higher then usual ridership. I think the next ride they put should be in the spot of the old dive show.

Rampage was removed last year to make room for this year's ride.

Would be a good idea considering it’s looking like 2025 will be the year BGW will get that 220 foot Coaster (whatever that turns out to be).

Maybe Water Country will add like a RallyRacer of some kind then

It's certainly possible but I think it's location a design leave limited reuse possibilities so I think closing it to replace is less likely. Honestly if we are looking at an replace and reuse situation I would bet more on either the slides by rocknroll Island or pipeline
