Sorry to open a new thread if this isn't something major, but BG apparently filed permits to do soil tests near Big Ben 3 days ago. Does anyone know what this might be?

Kevin's letter did mention work on M Sweets, and if you notice that while it's using Big Ben as a reference the location of the test site pins are around the bottom of the hill under the deck behind the candy shop.
My guess is they're doing something there - could be something as simple as replacing supports and testing new foundation locations.

Yeah I figured it might not be anything major, but I thought maybe it could be early signs of a small footprint flat ride, or something similar.
Based on where it is, almost directly under skyride, they are either planning on expanding a building or the pathway there. It is kind of a choke point that could benefit from path widening.

That path gets really tight with the bar and the dip-n-dots stand in place.
Especially when a show let's out of the Globe, it's a nightmare. Here's to hoping for a substantial widening.
