I can see it now.

"Congratulations on being chosen to be part of our elite Ambassador Bloggers team! Before you begin writing about our many rides and experiences, please remember that Busch Gardens offers five adult roller coasters. Five. You've been warned."

The park can give free passes and all these nice little perks to these mommy bloggers and their little tikes, but can't afford to take care of their animals. #priorities

To be fair, what they are giving the bloggers basically costs the park nothing yet allows them to control a better internet presence in a world where everyone depends on blogs and social media to plan their vacations. The most expensive thing they are giving away is the free passes and that is barely a drop in the bucket for BG considering how little of their revenue actually comes from admission. Everything else is basically stuff they are already doing, just allowing these bloggers access to it.

I still think Parkfans should apply, we won't get it, but we should still apply if only to give us something to grumble about.

Most anyone interested in the blogger program would probably already have season passes...

Do we have any individual members who are established bloggers with an existing site? There's great original content at BGWFans.com. Not sure how the park would view a collaborative site/blog application?

Out of curiosity, is the park home to any Guinness World Records? Even if just for a BGWFans article, I wonder if any members armed with a Quick Queue would be up for seeing how many coaster rides they could make in one day? Not sure I'm up for it myself, but it would be funny as hell to read the rider(s) experience throughout the day!

Geo: Zachary will have to spend an entire day riding EITA, once Tempasta opens.  That might be similar to your less sadistic idea?

I heard rumblings of that, but thought it was a joke!  Whoa...

PFN applied last year and plan to apply again this year.

And PFN will be passed over by multiple bloggers who have only a few hundred viewers who post nothing more than "I was accepted into the Ambassador Blogging Program!" and then subsequently do nothing just like last year.

Media and "partners" normally gets free passes to stuff anyways. Concerts, events, etc... This is absolutely no different...Also, the cost of a few passes to people promoting your park is negligible.

Looks like the park is contacting people about the program. The Facebook Page below said they were ambassador bloggers for 2015.
