We're coming up on the end of another year, 2011 has been an interesting one for the site and has seen quite a few changes as well as exponential growth. As of 8:00 pm 12/28/11, the total number of posts is 28,948. On January 1, 2011, the total number of posts was 9,371. That's an increase of over 308% this year. This is thanks in large part to our active community, which consists of 1,074 members, 215% more than we had on January 1.
The growth of the site would not have been possible without the hard work of the forum team, so, many thanks to those individuals.
This year has also seen the addition of a new admin, Swiftman. With my attention and time moving towards my new family, Swift is more than capable of running the day to day operations and ensuring the growth of the site will continue.
There are also a number of people that take no credit for the contributions they make to the site, but deserve more than anyone else. To those nameless individuals, the numbers mentioned in the first paragraph are do in large part to you, so, thank you.
Hopefully the growth continues in 2012 as we look forward to many great things to come in the park.
