I dont mind a grass field for the ride at all. If I'd had extra budget I'd have put all of it all in the pedestrian area.

Plans seem to indicate most of the planting is RPA mitigation, so erosion protection for the slopes and edges. Doubtful to me that the flat fields ever had anything planned.

LNM isn't so much rough as it has extremely uncomfortable seating especially for taller body types, where you will just slide and slam into hard edges as the trains lurch through old arrow turns. The actual setup of the seatback and seat never agreed with me either. I always hoped someone...

Even hyperion with its more conservative 4 across trains don't seem to be performing well. Intamins seem to fare better with the 2 across setups.

I'd say it's a reasonably unlikely ride to be a valley risk.

I'd take it as a given that literally every major ride built in perpetuity will not have the guest comfort issues that i305 does.

With the change in terrain grade it would have easily been a greater valley-to-peak "height" than the literal ground-to-peak that the permit process involves. I expect it is or was in the upper 300's and I'd have wagered the very marketable speed of 100 miles per hour.

If this is of a different type of ride, the question is what is the goal of the attraction if not to go for those hyper-marketable size/speed features. Another question is if/how the budget is being renegotiated.

Australia's Luna Park is opening one this year (our winter, their summer).

Darkastle didnt break, it proved itself unprofitable. If the park thought they needed a Darkastle they would have kept Darkastle.

The swing launch they've made a dozen times over, albeit only one with a rolling start. The switch would be the novel bit, but they've done that on Hagrid too.

Right, but what would the path to that bridge be like to end up next to the back of that backstage building there in order to cross the launch? Seems like it would have been much easier to go over or under the s-bend, closer up to the garden of inventions.
