    2020 Coasters and Craft Brews

It was a similar situation for the 11am timeslot yesterday too. We didn't arrive quite as early as a half hour before, but we got over to FF around 10:55am and it seemed like it had already been running with guests.

I'm not entirely sure. We asked the person at the exit gate when we were leaving why they had the entrance gates closed, and he just said they reached capacity and couldn't let anyone else in. It was just myself and my fiancée, and when we left two other people were let in. There were only two...

As of now the park is turning away guests (or making them wait until people leave) because they've reached capacity. Not sure how that works with a reservation system... 🤔

It could be anything from clearing trees to excavation really. First step would be clearing though.

Surprisingly enough, amidst the Coronavirus, BGW filed for a land disturbance permit today with the County. I'm guessing they're still planning on getting the work moving. I guess even if construction has to halt, they will at least have all of the permitting out of the way.

From my understanding of this particular easement, that is not exactly true. If it were any other easement (drainage, public utities, etc.) then yes, I believe that would be the case. But there are specific regulations in place for the Colonial Pipeline. For instance, they do aerial survey to...

    Project 2021: Pantheon

Exactly this. Plus, remember that the Colonial Pipeline easement runs right through the plaza, hence why they aren't building any permanent structures in that area. The red lines are roughly where the easement runs. They could, in theory, build something in the future off to the right in the...

He's likely the engineering consultant firm's (VHB's) project manager for this project. VHB serves as BGW's site civil consultant, so they're the ones who design the site plans (not the structural, mechanical, or architectural plans though).

The site plan has been approved! BGW essentially just needs to obtain permits to begin construction at this point.

What future plans? They only do "landscaping" projects, remember?

Does anyone know if they ever installed that missing support segment coming out of the outward-bank? It looked like it was still missing in the pictures from media day. (Credit: WTKR)

Pretty sure that's just the catwalk support. Look at the picture after that one where the catwalks are already installed.

Ah, that makes sense. They definitely didn't look like LSMs to me, which is why I was confused (but I also don't know that much about the electronics). But that would make sense to have more than enough fail-safes. I believe it is, based on Zachary's aerial photos:

Not to blatantly contradict you, but why would they be retractable brake fins? LSMs can be used for braking too, and the only reason they would need to be used as brakes in that area would be as a safety mechanism if the switch track didn't move into place properly during the launch. I would...
