They can afford it lol. They already said they’re planning to spend $150 mil on new attractions in 2020 and this dive isn’t going to be that expensive.
Just with the manufacturer being B&M I figured it’s a possibility Madrid could also be a B&M project.
Honestly, if the Rumors about it being a shuttle coaster and mainly focused in Festa are true, I'd get your rides in on Roman Rapids this year... I feel like they'd probably remove it so they can fit the station area in there and use the field to their full advantage.
I doubt it but if so I wouldn’t complain. It’s not a very good rapids. They already have two great water rides as well.
It really is the weak link compared to Le Scoot and Escape from Pompeii. With it out of the way, we could more easily make a path between Festa Italia and Festhaus Park.
Still better than SFA's Renegade Rapids, but SFA only has Shipwreck Falls after it, Apocalypse/Firebird already having replaced Skull Mountain. They could still connect Batwing back to the rest of the park at Roar.
Could be anything at this point. I’m just happy they’re utilizing the space that many people desperately wanted to see something in.
