The SkyRocket IIs are cheap and look cool. They bring in guests and make the park money. I, personally, wish all three had all gone to SeaWorld parks; but regardless, I don't think the calculation is that complicated.

I think a better question is whether adding a flat precludes a RMC of Gwazi in the future.
I don't think it does at all. The foundation is actually a big part of the costs of a new coaster. If you can eliminate the need for that, you still have a great cost savings. Granted you still need to remove the mountain of wood on site.

At this point, I think it's safe to say that BGT is considering their options. Recently the park has been doing better and if SWP&E continues to trend upward in the coming year, it may embolden another coaster addition. I don't think we are looking at a large, high cost project, but something akin to (the cost of) Invadr. Alternatively, The park currently has 3 operating flat rides, 1 of which is a carousel, and another in extended scheduled maintenance.
