I don't think it does at all. The foundation is actually a big part of the costs of a new coaster. If you can eliminate the need for that, you still have a great cost savings. Granted you still need to remove the mountain of wood on site.The SkyRocket IIs are cheap and look cool. They bring in guests and make the park money. I, personally, wish all three had all gone to SeaWorld parks; but regardless, I don't think the calculation is that complicated.
I think a better question is whether adding a flat precludes a RMC of Gwazi in the future.
At this point, I think it's safe to say that BGT is considering their options. Recently the park has been doing better and if SWP&E continues to trend upward in the coming year, it may embolden another coaster addition. I don't think we are looking at a large, high cost project, but something akin to (the cost of) Invadr. Alternatively, The park currently has 3 operating flat rides, 1 of which is a carousel, and another in extended scheduled maintenance.
