Themed multi-launch with a drop track? Sounds an awful lot like Verbolten and even the video makes the comparison.

However, I trust Intamin and Universal to build a great ride and create great theming respectively.

Here's a construction update about the replacement coaster with some interesting speculations about theming, etc.

I can say this is pretty much almost to the point. Expect to see a massive Fluffy, as to so far more Intamin track is here, especially the tire launch sections, as well as more dark trees are here also. As for the train, nothing yet, which we are thinking may be revealed at IAAPA this year. If I remember I will post someones Youtube video from Planet Coaster, or remind me I am currently out at Universal Hollywood until June 14th.

Of course the launches will be faster, after the track spike drop backwards, you will go to Devil's Snare with more going on, but these people have done a really good job from taking the video from AliciaSteele and put in good parts. Also, there will be a coaster coming to JP also I believe 2020. I m hoping for my B&M launched wing coaster based on the raptors (BLUE)

Certainly all the news coming out on this is fantastic and it sounds like it's going to be such a great unique experience.....but not at the expense of my dragons. I was there opening weekend and marathoned that crap out of that.

One thing I am very worried with this ride: With the transfer tracks and drop track rumors.....what's the capacity going to be like? It's going to have to be impeccably timed for them and no hold ups to keep the capacity moving.

If any park can handle timing on a ride this complex, it's Universal. The upside of the screen-heavy rides is that Universal has a ton of experience with keeping the lines flowing, the trains coming, and downtime minimal. Admittedly they've done a way better job with Forbidden Journey than with Gringotts...but let's hope that the more straightforward ride system of this ride helps them out.

Forbidden Forest is pretty much confirmed with this release from the park.
Also not all in parts of the Forbidden Forest, but the Hogwarts grounds, and if you look close to the concept art you can notice the ruins. The original pic on here is not from a Uni release but actually from an all thing Potter site,, I believe its called Pottermore.com. All things considering too I will try to post some pics if I can or you can actually follow Bioreconstruct on Twitter, he has some amazing construction pics from above as well as some of the part of the ruins show house. Lots of trees have been going up to hide views from people taking pics and also as part of the theming. Bring on the Cornish Pixies, Devil's Snare, Fluffy and other Magical Creatures.
This was from Orlando Attraction Tickets site:
A Magical New Adventure is Coming in 2019
For the first time ever, fly far beyond the grounds of Hogwarts™ castle on a thrilling roller coaster ride that plunges into the paths of some of the wizarding world’s rarest magical creatures. Universal’s most highly themed coaster takes off in 2019. Only at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Hogsmeade™, at Universal Orlando Resort™

Hey guys long time since I have got to get on, especially since HHN 28 is done and now Holidays at Universal. Pics courtesy of Gabe3235 at Inside Universal forums. The new still un named HP coaster in IOA, where it shows part of the ride drop out of which we have came up with it is part of the ruins show housing where the coaster passes thru several times. Have recently found that the ruins are part of an Abbey from the HP books. Fluffy will still be an AA but built by a company that builds outdoor AAs. The suppose Hagrid's Hut is not his hut after all but sort of a barn, and it looks like they have some work done where the roof beams that have a burnt finish may be a fire effect or for smoke. Lots going on such as rock work inside the drop building and all over. Lots and lots of trees have been going in also( Uni keeping the magic out of sight) I will try to post some more, since I am able to and current semester at UCF is almost done. Lots of things still going on around the Orlando parks. So as I can I will post more, sorry for a long pause between post, but very busy down here for us all. Also, to note once anything that Universal finally announces I will post for you guys, but so far no name for this awesome attraction and New Adventure in the HP World

It's been awhile, here are some pics from Bioreconstruct & Midway Mahem. The rock work and mossy theme is looking good if you look close at the one pic you can see the covered Hagrid themed motorbike and side car themed trains that are still covered and the water dummies are inside.
Word is this may be delayed but one of the reasons I am not a big Intamin fan. Still No announcement, but if you know Uni they probably wont announce it until around opening. I am looking forward to riding this and cant wait for the Devil's Snare drop.

I am HERE for that mossy rock work, heart eyes big time
Yes I love it, and the one part is amazing with the mossy rock work where you go thru it 2 times. Pic courtesy of Midway Mayhem, on one of his videos on youtube around 24 minutes in you can see them testing the train, which they are doing and rumor is the devils snare part themeing is amazing, Spoiler Alert, Omg just wait til it opens gonna be amazing and will hold a record for most launches on a coaster.
