Project 2019: Ireland Expansion? S&S Screamin' Swing?

I really really hope that it turns out to be a Screaming Swing. BGW is seriously lacking in thrilling flats and family friendly flats. I hope BGW does do this, sees/feels a very positive impact, and realizes that this investment can have a good return.

This in place in Ireland, I hope (and I know this is likely more for the concepts thread) they replace Da Vinci's Cradle with a Six Flags Cyborg Spin clone (I dunno who made that but I want one!), and move Da Vinci's Cradle elsewhere. Because that Cyborg Spin is big, move Battering Ram to New France (fits in with Invadr now).

Sorry, but I feel like a kid on Christmas knowing that BGW is bringing in something I've been begging for in the 3 years I've been in VA.

In all seriousness, does anyone know of any other flat ride that fits this site plan?

At first I was pretty timmid about "calling it"—saying it is almost certainly a Screamin' Swing. That said, after a lot of research, I couldn't find any other attraction that fit the documents the park submitted.
I think you covered the 2 possibilities with the story. The only other one I can think of is the Cyborg Spin clone I brought up. And that Huss Ride that's like that.

While I'm super excited about BGW getting a new flat ride since its greatly needed, I'm not a huge fan of the ride placement. They'd have to clear cut all the trees on that side of the castle and we all know the park's been on a clear cutting trees kick with their last few attractions.

I just don't want the park messing with the look of that entrance. I always really liked the castle hiding in the trees.

I went to Dollywood for the first time last year. Their Screamin' Swing looks awesome, but unfortunately I didn't have time to ride it. I'm glad Busch Gardens is finally adding a basic flat ride, and that it's not something that Kings Dominion has right up the road.
The bolded is why I'm all on board for this. If it's a pendulum-type ride, then yawn, because KD already has Delirium. If Project Madrid is a StarFlyer, then slightly more interested yawn, because KD has WindSeeker and SFA has Wonder Woman (though BGW does have the view for it).

I don't suppose a top spin counts as a fit? Do they even still make those?

Also, One of these days I wish the East Coast would get a Gerstlauer Sky Roller. Those rides are absolutely amazing. Busch's hilly terrain would make for a great setup like the one they have at Liseberg.

A Huss Top Spin crossed my mind, but even those require additional bracing supports extended in front, behind, and beside the main support columns. It's certainly not an impossibility, but it seemed like a stretch to me.

Another thing to note: The filing by the park strongly suggests that whatever the ride is, it won't make a full rotation (like a Top Spin).

Don't care for the location. That is a nice serene entrance into that part of the park. The bridge and the beauty of the hills, water, and trees really sets the mood for the rest of the lap around the park (yes, we typically go counterclockwise). I hate to see that changed by a flat ride. The location, plus the noise that will add to the area just turns me off of it. They should invest this money into repairing the rides they have (looking at you V).

The pipe dreaming fanboy in me is back to hoping this is the start of a great relationship with S&S - and ultimately one of their coasters. I'm not talking those free spins or El Locos, I'm talking 4Ds proper, pneumatic launches, Arrow revivals. This ride's reliability will determine everything.

The last thing we need is this ride having technical difficulties and BGW blacklisting S&S like they did with Intamin.

The Screamin swings and drop towers are the only good things S&S makes.
