It's not exactly in an easy location for the public to gain access. There would need to be some extensive crowd control and directing devices. The gravel path is really not handicap/ADA accessible. They can put measures in place during construction to mitigate gravel movement and to provide a more stable surface. I really don't see this as guest attraction space, at least not yet.

Any possibility that this could end up in season being a group catered area (HP has about 5 of these) and then a house in HOS.

Or with RPT getting the new show...might it be related to that?

I don't want to sound dismissive because I, too, am very intrigued by how they'd handle a queue for this location. That said, honestly, I only have one word to reply with: Lumberhack. :p

This crossed my mind as well but, considering that I'd have a hard time believing what we are getting this year at the RPT will be more grandiose than All for One or Twas That Night, this seems like a lot of investment for a show they've hardly announced.

Hmmmm, rather limited fire exits, so not a high occupancy. Likely garage doors at each end. Paths lead to a service road with no direct park access. Customers would get to view the employee cafeteria, nasty and stinky dumpsters, supply sheds, etc. The landscaping is more extensive because it can be viewed by customers riding the trains.

You make a very good point—I forgot to talk about entries and exits in the post! I'll try to fix that tonight. For now, here is a little, quickly thrown together, ParkFans forum exclusive for everyone...

Thanks. Yes that’s the first thing after HOS that crossed my mind.

As for people talking about location....seems ideal to do indoor/outdoor with RPT and then walk into the building on the north end, exit the south end into the area behind Le Cant.

This I have no real info on. But a couple questions above had me thinking, the queue for it could be the Royal Palace Theater just as it  has been for Catacombs if used for HOS. The gravel path would be no different than what Lumberhack uses.  But what really came to mind was a dedicated dining location tied into the concerts where they can up charge the dining reserved seating ticket package. This could also be used for other functions like what the Black Forrest is now but would be less weather dependent.

Zachary’s article goes into detail on that exact question.
Thanks Nicole! I was finally able to read it. Another good article Zachary.and it was aweome that others stepped up to help since you were feeling under the weather. I hope it is for HOS,but either way I'm sure it will prove to give us hours of discussion on what it will be. Sorry if the typing is bad my fire doesn't display the page right

I've wondered for a looooong time what they might do with the curious loop of open space inside the tracks back there.

At one point I hoped they'd build a coaster that bounced into that area from some other part of the park, but with the advent of InvadR that idea was dead.

Empty no more.  Interesting...

Firstly Welcome to the forum! You brought up some interesting points but IMO It may be easier depending on how they work it to shield the public from the dumpsters. The only reason i say this is because with the haunted house i do there are three big dumpsters right along the foot trail we use for the house. We cant move them because they are Balto County parks property, not counting that they are way to heavy for us to move manually (we may have already tried that despite being warned not to lol). We created wall panels from 2x4's and/or pallets with plywood then braced them safely. Did this on three of the four sides leaving access to the dumpsters to empty and still be of use. Threw some paint and some themed items on them and boom blocks the guest from the dumpsters. Now with them accumulating more trash than we did if they set it up properly the walls can be moved to allow access for dump trucks and employees when it comes time to empty them. Then they may possibly just theme out the parts of buildings that will be seen by guests. Plus it wouldn't be the first time that an access type road was used for a queue or something similar for a HOS attraction. If i remember correctly (and please tell me if i'm wrong) ROAE, Scarletts Revenge, LumberHack and Cornered all had queues or part of the house in a location like and access area. It may be harder to do on the scale at BGW than what i am used to but it would be a good way to still use the space.

Any thoughts on theming for the outside? All sides of this building will be seen at very close range. I hope it looks really nice and fits in well, nothing that looks like a warehouse. I assume they will make it look nice. Think it will be French theme?

On the subject of theming, I do sometimes wish the park would decorate at least a little on the roofs of some of the buildings so that when you're in the skyride or on a roller coaster (particularly Griffon where you have that spectacular view looking down) you don't see the vents and such. This would likely be a bit much for the expense it would necessitate but one can dream...

Edit: I emphatically do not mean a giant bottle of Coke.
