Gotta admit, the bees are a big turn-off back there. We consider it essentially a non-option at meal times due to nature's miniature attack helicopters constantly menacing the trash cans.

Food options weren't great either, but it sounds like they might have improved substantially. I wonder, will the bees notice the change?

I have been to BG about sixty times in the last three years and have never once eaten here. I've always known it to be a forgettable experience, even regrettable to most.

If the items are anything like when it was a regular restaurant, then I'm interested. The menu does look a bit familiar.

Not to go off topic buuuuut, are we really going to ignore someone with the username 'halfabee' complaining about bees?

It's been established that I'm in the minority of these things, but I don't mind bees or most other animals like that. I believe that I'm in their territory and I that if I don't mess with them or piss them off, they're going to be an annoyance at most.

I'm actually super optimistic about this new setup and menu. I never liked the park's red sauce, but I love Pesto and Alfredo on pizza. Since everything is made to order and those will be options for any combination of toppings, I'm looking forward to a Pesto Pepperoni and Ham pizza.

Obviously there is no way to tell until Saturday, but our hope is that the new set up will really improve the restaurant.  They plan to bake each personal pizza to order, which should be an improvement of what I have heard described before.  Additionally, the alfredo and pesto sauces might be better than the park's marinara, which I personally dislike.

That said, it appears that it will still be all you can eat.

I used to be a whole bee, but then one day while buzzing the trash cans at a local theme park, I landed on this hungry kid's slice...

Normally I wouldn't want to spoil a review by giving my conclusion about a restaurant before writing said review, but I fear that it may be a human rights violation to allow anyone to try La Cucina in its current state. Really guys, it's bad. Also, it has made me (and at least two of the other people who helped us judge) sick. It is bad.

We were told to come back in a few weeks and by then they'd have all the issues worked out. I won't oust the person who said this, but as someone on our review team pointed out, getting the issues worked out should probably involve bulldozing the building and calling it a day.

Did I mention it was bad? It was really bad.

It would take some massive reform and including a hefty dose of Pepto with every order to make me do what I just endured again.

And before you think, "Oh, I'm sure Zachary is just overreacting again," in the words of another guest whom I don't know and I had no influence on, the food is "garbage." Also, another complained to the staff that they ruined the pizza vs what has been served there before. That is not good.

By the way, the pizza is bad. I thought I should mention that.

I am physically ill. Eat elsewhere.

Accurate recreation of my experience:

This was one of those things where you hoped would go well but you expect the worse for me. It was bad, I'm not going to be eating here again. This is also someone who has a pretty low threshold for pizza.
