So with some apprehension, I decided I'll be doing this opening weekend.  I figure the food should be decent and if the show is bad, I can revert to some gross, primitive form of male just to appreciate the eye candy.

somehow I got dragged into this too.

I, on the other hand will not be ogling the nurses.

/me does not want to be that creepy old guy

Sure sure. Well I'll be at Blood Banquet tomorrow for its first show.

Once there is more info about this I'll probably look into going for next time. My boyfriend enjoyed last year's fright feast maining for the creature and the fact that it got us out of the rain (he was getting over a cold).

So this show was small, charming, and most importantly extremely self-aware. Zimmy described it as in the style and a bit of parody of Vegas Dinner Theater. The show acknowledges it's a lame, small thing and they build their jokes on that. There's a great line, "This place could look better but Monster Stomp got most of the budget".

The show itself has Igor, Swampy (Who gets a neat theme song), and three Nurses (Mary, Sherry, and Terri). It's a very simple show, but I really enjoyed it.

Food needed more variety, though.
