The Crystal Method music just took me way back.

When that animation was made did they not know where it was going to be or how it was going to be themed? Did Paramount Parks buy the ride and just have a lottery and KD won and go the ride? The car had Paramount Parks on the front and were yellow, obviously not how the ride turned out and I dont believe it had OTS restraints either (the prototype car did) .

Also that box building to the right of it in the video is it supposed to be Outer Limits: FoF? At KD that building is on the other side of the lake.

This guy seems to have relatively reliable/researched data in his videos, so this may answer those questions:

Very interesting but to me if it was going to CGA why would it just have Paramount Parks branding on the animation. Almost as if Paramount was like "We'll take it" and then even CGA was not the planned destination, but the destination that somehow got out marketing wise.

From what I can tell, it was certainly a rushed decision - perhaps there were various forms of red tape they could avoid by placing the ride at KD, or that there was a last-minute decision to put a ride like this in to compete against BGW.
