Sounded like throughout the whole park.

I'm hoping that, like EPCOT's, it will be park-wide... even utilizing areas like the reserve to showcase international foods not currently represented by the park: Spain, Netherlands, etc.

O, autocorrect, you so funny.

Nah, I'm afraid there won't be any Indian tribes at the event.

There's some Native American merchandise sold in New France, that's your taste of Indian Chiefs!

I have a feeling the wine barrels will be moved out of the way.

It does seem like a pretty blatant Disney ripoff if I'm completely honest. Is there anyone who's actually, legitimately excited about this?

I wanted someone to kill me when that was the big news for 2013. Great job Busch, you knocked this one out of the park.

Disney has it huge for several reasons. Transportation to hotels for lit people after. Marketing campaign that rivals buschs overall bottom line. The clout to get high end chefs to prepare menus. The clout to get high end chefs and bakers and demand to do seminars and full course meals. This will be worse than the Soarin' ripoff.

Great Adventure has been doing a small food and wine festival in the fall for the past few years. In no way can it be compared to EPCOT's, nor is it meant to be. What they do is showcase local restaurants and wineries - it's been great exposure for the local businesses.

That is exactly what BGW should be aiming for. Showcasing Virginia wineries and restaurants.

Well they are definitely not making all the wine themselves.

RE: Food & Wine Festival 2013 Rumors

They do already have wine tasting at the park in San Marco.
