Disney's Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique mass produces princesses...

Ha, I think "We Mass Produce Princesses" is Disney's unofficial tagline! I definitely see the appeal of a spa that allows kids to get all sparkly while their parents have a wine break. As someone with no kids, I'd prefer something a little more quiet and less sparkly (though still with wine). Since BGW seems to attract many adults that just want to eat or shop, I wonder if it is one of the few theme parks where a spa for adults would work. I definitely couldn't see it working at KD or a Six Flags location. I like halfabee's idea of starting small to get an idea of whether a market exists.

The idea of doing an outside the park/inside the park spa is also interesting, but one of the reasons I thought Aquitaine would be a good location is because it's a relaxing area of the park that has always seemed underutilized to me. Building that area up (since it really can't be built out) could make it feel a little more like an old, quaint street in France lined with little shops.

Silly little idea that would greatly improve Verbolten's presence: Paint the roof of the show building to look like treetops. From the lift hills of the other big coasters or Mach Tower, it would look less like a cheap shed - it would match the park map better.

This Flat Ride Would Fit In Well At BGW

I think this awesome looking ride would be a good addition to BGW:

I think it could fit in France or Germany and be World War I themed. If in France, it could be based around the Lafayette Escadrille ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lafayette_Escadrille ). If in Germany, the obvious theme would be the Red Baron.

I agree it would be a nice addition, but don't necessarily agree it should be themed after a war. The "war" topic belongs in Jamestown, Yorktown and other historic destinations meant strictly as learning experiences and are as accurate, solemn and respectful as possible. To install a ride themed around a war sounds to me about as horrific as titanic-themed restaurants and destinations. Terrible events in history where people suffered and lost their lives should never be used for thrills.

Not trying to be argumentative, just my opinion.

Regarding the ride though, I think France or Germany would be great spots, or maybe something like this could even help revitalize poor, neglected Festa.

I wouldn't be opposed to out-of-the-ordinary flats like these. Certainly this is a step up from the Larson Loops Six Flags is cranking out.

But a modern war theme is the last theme that would work at BGW.

( ;-P )

InvadR's story is based around war with swords, not tanks. That's why it gets a pass, and that's why I said "modern war" doesn't belong at BGW.

Like I said, just my opinion. But based on theming alone, even Der Roto Baron seems out of place. But then, so do Churros and having Canadian "New France" in old world Europe.

I dunno I have seen some robust ideas involving a re-theme of the entire park around WWII - European Front. (WCUSA would of course become the War in the Pacific)

Consider the outside of the globe redone to look like the Blitz!

Natural disasters get a pass.

Look how many coasters/rides are named after hurricanes, tornados, lightning, etc.! :p
There's still a line, the "too soon" factor. Six Flags Great America, in the Six Flags 2018 announcements, didn't have a name for the giant Larson Loop. Rumor has it they were giving the name a hurricane motif until it was going into the Mardi Gras area. That obviously would have evoked Hurricane Katrina, and on top of being "too soon", Six Flags lost their New Orleans park in that disaster.

Safe to say, nobody here is 2,000+ years old and was around to experience the destruction in Pompeii firsthand.

Speak for yourself; I lost a lot of good friends that day. It's ironic that you all hate the water sprayers featured on the ride, because we sure could have used them when our homes were being consumed by flame.

To a point maybe, but I agree with SLC Headache about the “too soon” factor. As he mentioned, I have a feeling a ride named “Escape from Hurricane Katrina” wouldn’t go over quite as well.
