RE: Celtic Fyre Reviews

Someone needs to let the park know that flooding a place with fog won't fix all of their problems.

The funny thing is....smoking has been banned in pubs/bars/restuarants in Ireland for almost a decade.

Remember the overal park theme is not modern day. It is during the romantic era I believe.

I believe he was just referencing the irony. Pretty sure I could get away with having my way with any maiden in the place if I were a member of the gentry. But I'm guessing they ain't going to go with that "theme" if I tried to pull that off.

Celtic Fyre sad day

I was at the 530 show for Celtic Fyre on 5-20-12 knowing it was the last show for the 2 star tap dancers performing together, what a show they put on one is leaving to teach summer school so I hear and the other is staying at the park but will have part in other shows I will miss seeing these 2 performers in Celtic Fyre, to me they made the show a huge hit.......

I was at that show too. I knew something had to be going on. The performance was super-charged. Like and end of the season type show. Thanks for the info.

So does this mean thay are taking the tap section out and putting something else in?

Three new horn players and two new drummers are arriving this week in the Mix-it-Up! show, to replace musicians who are leaving the park, being moved to other shows, and to provide backup support.

Perhaps the same is occurring in Celtic Fyre and other shows.

Colleges and universities have let out in the last week or so, which provides a natural time for new staff and new performers to appear.

[Mods... Is it okay that I posted this May 2012 Mix-it-Up! info here in the Celtic Frye 2010 thread?]

Get your fill of Celtic Fyre before Howl-O-Scream. Just whispers right now, but not good ones.

What is this you say? Could Celtic Fyre be done for? Do dreams come true?

Whoa!! Is management going to mess with the best show in the park? One that needs no tweaking at all?

This doesn't pass the sniff test.

^ Neither did Entwined or anything else the entertainment department has done lately. I just post what I hear. This is something I've heard from a few different people in very different places.

I sure hope Celtic Fyre comes back best show I have ever seen at BGW. Each time I go to the park I try to catch this show at least 2 times..

I hope they bring back something more in line with Emerald Beat, or a one-act like Castle O'Sullivan. The possibilities are endless...and when I say endless, I of course mean limited to a very specific set of stylistic and thematic parameters.

Even after so many disappointments, I remain completely optimistic. LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Busch Gardens! Don't let me down.
