Just wish Young Veterans Brewing Company would get some love in the park. :( They have the best beers in the Virginia Beach area hands down no contest.

O'Conner 4 LYF! That Odis... Bro serious, that shit is the BOMB yo!

No seriously, it is fantastic, very smooth and complex with floral hints. By the way I have replaced Guinness with it in my Brisket, Chili, and Beef, Barley, and Veg soup.

When they put the renewal notices in the cubby's last fall it looked like there was one notice per cubby. Even though there are 2 steins per cubby. It could be your renewal notice was given to the first person in that cubby.
Last year the beers were decided before the park opened for the season. I asked why local breweries weren't given priority and they just shrugged their shoulders and said they never thought about it. I do know the person responsible last year isn't doing it this year.
It would be nice if there was a way to have a list at Grogan's so you didn't have to carry your stein over there and then take it back.
I remember a couple going off on the staff at the Brauhaus last year because they thought their membership was permanent and they wanted their 2016 steins filled for $5 in 2017. They actually had to call security.

It might be worth saying something to a Guest Relations.  They do forward feedback to the relevant organizations in the park.

Thank you.

O'Connor has some great beers, don't get me wrong, I am especially fond of their Lil S.I.P.A. but Y.V.B.C. has some of the best beers in every category. If you like ODIS, you should try YVBC's Goat Locker Double Imperial Stout..

Some information on the Stein Membership and discounted beers at Grogan's Pub. Apparently you will need to get your stein from the Brauhaus and carry it over to Grogan's to be able to get $5 pours there. Somewhat disappointing as I would prefer not to have to carry my stein halfway across the park for a discounted beer. IMHO it would have been nice if they loaded our Stein Membership on onto our season passes or at least had a printed list of the Stein/Pint Memberships at the two locations that they could cross reference for discounted beers.

I was hoping that, or even just a member card that could be taken back and forth. Oktoberfest offers $5 fills in the stein, but I don’t want to take the stein past the tables in Festhaus...

New policy at Brauhaus:
Stein Club members can no longer opt to get their beer in a plastic cup rather than the stein. This is a bummer from my POV as I regularly got my second pour in a plastic cup to walk around the park with. The reason behind this has something to do with the reciprocity deal with Grogan’s... although I’m not sure I follow the logic of that. Regardless, if your planning on getting a beer at the Brauhaus as a member of the Stein Club, be aware that you must now drink only from the stein :’(

So does anyone know how many steins they have this year? Also do you know if you can get them as a gift as long as the recipient is 21?

I just joined Monday. The dude at Brauhaus told me there were "special glasses at Grogans" for members as a selling point. When I went there and asked they looked at me like I was an idiot.

Does anyone know when you go to redeem if the 1st fill is free like previous years for the Stein Club? I'm just happy I got my stein for year 3 in a row before they sold out =)

I got one for my brother! Does anyone know the volume of one of the steins? I didn't bring mine home, but I might to figure out the volume...
