I'm not familiar with Cirque du Freak but I just wiki'd it and I don't think there's very much similarity between it and The Night Circus. Don't let that discourage you though, it's really a beautiful story.

It seems my commute all the back to high-school has been 1/2 hour. My sister and I used to joke that it always takes 30 minutes to get anywhere in VA Beach. (of course I lived in VB and went to school in Orf)...
before I derail this any further I will start a new thread...

(Admins, see how well behaved a member I am being!!!)

If anyone is or was a fan of comic books there is a big milestone about happen on April 19th. The milestone is that Action Comics(Superman) will release issue #1000! It will be a double size issue and there are going to be like 10 variant cover editions almost all of them themed to a certain decade in Superman's past. Along with that there is going to be a 384 page hard cover book that will cost $29.99. The book includes a never before published 12-page story from original Superman writer Jerry Siegel with art by the Joe Shuster Studio titled “Too Many Heroes.”

Needless to say, as a former comic book collector/reader (that I still sometimes dabble in) I will be heading to my local comic store to buy this. For such a special milestone edition as this it will most likely appreciate in value over time so long as they don't over produce it.

Out of curiosity what did you think of the Mary Poppins series? (This may be a question for here though).
It has been ages since I read them, but I recall loving the series. I also thought Disney made Mary Poppins sweeter than she was in the books.

If you haven't read "Fangirl" by Rainbow Rowell, give it a look. It's a great 'open ended' book in that the ending is just another day. "Attachments" by her is another good one.
