My dream for SEAS in Williamsburg

Williamsburg/James City County are very restrictive when it comes to large scale build outs. CW still rules the day in many places and with them struggling they would scream. Not to mention the height and water set back waivers that would be required for this. Some very cool ideas, just not...

    Busch Gardens Williamsburg Membership Program

At the end of the day SEAS took a half-baked experiment and made it more convoluted and confusing than necessary. Depending on the park depends if its an annual pass or membership, depending on the park depends on what you pay. Things they said they wanted to be rid of they bought back...

    New Busch Gardens Williamsburg Sub-Reddit

Depending on the sub-reddit some are very well organized and monitored. Some are humorous based on the industry in question with those working in those industry to have an open place to discuss. Reddit is also now being sourced by major news orgs with tips, rumors, etc. It depends on taste...

    Blackfish Backlash

Depends if their E&O insurance would cover it. Just because the SEC says you're guilty and hands over a fine doesn't mean E&O will pick it up, there are tons of stipulations and gotchas like dishonesty, punitive fines/damage or violations of law they check before paying out.

    Howl-O-Scream 2018

What happened at BGW last night was nothing short of a complete f-up. The park shouldn't have opened, if anything BGW could have said, you know we are going to scrap the weekend and add on another weekend at the end a few days after Halloween. Park ops are run by imbeciles, honestly there is no...

    Howl-O-Scream 2018

I know when AB owned the park that day employees could work HOS as an actor, they also recalled WC employees to work. There was a shift once the park was sold at some point, I was told, however true or not, is Blackstone looked to reduce payroll to some degree. AB would offer a slight pay...

    Busch Gardens Williamsburg Membership Program

Same but I was only trying to paint the picture of BG and their marketing efforts. Its really aggressive. I don't mind the emails on whats going on and news stuff, I like to be informed. Just the aggressiveness on selling of the new memberships are annoying.

    Busch Gardens Williamsburg Membership Program

Alright maybe I'm the only one complaining about this, but in the last two and a half weeks I've gotten 16 marketing emails from BG, 12 of which have been solely center around joining the new membership. It's almost a joke like the commercials on TV, call in the next 5 minutes and pay separate...

    WDW Trip Planning and Advice

In 30 years I've personally been over 100 times to WDW, DVC is awesome in that aspect. Honestly the best advice for both newbies and people that go frequently or infrequently, don't try and do too much, don't try and pack "everything" in, you won't see it all, you won't do everything on your...

You forgot the emotional damage that occurred. But for a cool five million, it may assuage my anguish.

Apollo's Chariot E-Stop Results in Multiple "Injuries"

Hand over the cash or I sue.. That's all this is. FWIW. The brake stop coming into the station on Verbolton can be a rib cracker some days.. Just saying.

Teens Smoking "Pot Pens" at BGW

That's mild. I saw everything from one hitters to philly blunts being used out in the open.

Teens Smoking "Pot Pens" at BGW

This stuff has been going on for eons at the park, in the 90s and early 2000s both park guest and employees doing this. I'm sure they still do to this day and did before. I even remember the blatant use when working the park on Saturday nights Z104 would hold "club" nights for teens and whatnot.

    Blackfish Backlash

Two things on this, 10,000 day trips if that translates to 10,000 ticketed day trips would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $479.900/year or $47.99 per ticket with the 40ish percent group discount. They may get a bulk deal which would be slightly better provided they are buying 100+ tickets...

    Battle for Eire

IMHO this ride was a ginormous waste of time, energy, resources and money for the park. First time I attempted to ride it broke down after over a hour of waiting in line to get to the front. As the next in the boarding queue all the employees stood around for close to 20 minutes before they...

    Improved Cell Phone Reception

TBH I don't connect to any untrusted wireless without my encrypted VPN. However back haul and bandwidthing reasons, Wireless is both cheap and easy to deploy as well as more centralized control with out having to depend on a third-party(s) to provide access, especially in light of multiple...

There are also some antennas mounted within Ireland, you can see them from the skyride. Welcome improvement but still need to work on a mesh wireless system.

    Sesame Place Williamsburg

Yes have seen about the contractual agreement. However that still doesn't override their financial issues adding in with staffing, management and marketing issues they can't seem to get in good order and stem the tide from Blackfish that still to this day haunts them..
