Didn't seem big newsworthy, but here it is.

At least for casting (RWSEG also does a host of other entertainment services), the park is working with RWS Entertainment Group out of New York City. Other companies that have used RWS Entertainent Group consist of the following:

- Cedar Fair Entertainment Company
- Hershey Entertainment & Resorts
- Herschend Family Entertainment
- Six Flags

as well as

- Viacom
- Victoria's Secret
- Viking Cruises
- Palace Entertainment
- NBC Universal
- Kohl's
- Macy's
- Mattel

This is actually very interesting. As far as I know, this is the first time Busch has worked with an external production company, at least such a "mainstream" one who does work at so many other theme parks.

RWS produced a handful of shows at Kings Dominion in recent years, including KD40: On Stage, Rockin' Country, and Hit List.

I felt the RWS shows had very high quality costumes and sets with a professional production value, but compared to other production companies Kings Dominion has used, I thought the talent they hired was relatively lacking. Hopefully now that they are working with Busch, the latter issue can be solved with BGW's hefty entertainment budget.

This is very interesting indeed. Maybe having RWS and BGW team up to work on the shows together might be a good thing to try.

Casting has been "outside" by Bob Cline for a while now. The discussions of New York performers over "locals" are around in other threads.

Bob Cline

Several productions have been from outside as well. Including Matt Davenport Productions, Neal Goldberg's Cirque Dreams, Jason Kantrowitz's Luminous Ventures, etc. Plus companies like Oak Island handling portions of some park sections.

Traditions & culture grew separately as well. The diverse heritage of many Americans is celebrated here in Busch Gardens at Williamsburg.
